ISTE Games and Simulations for Teaching and Learning

Games and simulations focused on teaching and learning

Hello Colleagues:

As NECC 2009 is quickly approaching, we are seeking volunteers to assist with our SIG booth. We need volunteers within the SIG to commit to two hour time blocks in which you will be available to man the booth. Duties at the booth are:

1. Help run the playground
2. Talk to people about joining the SIG
3. Answer questions on Games and Sims and other SIG activities
4. Help the topical/playground sessions to stay on schedule

We have set up a Doodle for everyone to sign up: http://doodle.com/b4k4vnygfc7kztz7. Please select a time frame that meets your scheduling needs. The time frames include:

Monday
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
12:00 AM - 2:00 PM
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Tuesday
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
12:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We appreciate any assistance!

Cheers,
Albert

Just a ping to the message. We still need SIG volunteers to main the SIG booth.

Should be a lot of fun! I found out today that we have over 1300 members in the SIG, the second highest of the new SIGs. Please help us answer people's questions about the SIG and recruit ISTE members to the SIG. We want to move up to a SIG forum this next year, so lets get those ISTE members interested in Games and Sims into the SIG.

If you have a little time to help work the booth, head over to the doodle and sign up for a time. We could use the help!

Cheers - Greg

I wanted to thank all those that volunteered to work the SIGGS! It was a great help to have folks circulating and passing out the leaflets.

if you have suggestions, please send them to me or Jeremy.

Cheers - Greg
