On June 28, 2009, over 300 leading administrators, teachers, technology coordinators, policymakers, and researchers gathered at the ISTE Leadership Symposium to give input into the development of the National Educational Technology Plan. Small teams provided advice regarding opportunities and critical barriers regarding the use of technology to address 5 key focus areas. The teams generated the five statements on this web site in 90-minute breakout groups.
